Relics of St. Therese of the Child Jesus Arriving in December 15

***The third Philippine visit of the pilgrim relics of St. Therese of the Child Jesus will commence with arrival ceremonies on December 15, 2012. There will be a procession at 4 PM December 15 from Villamor Air Base to the St. Therese’s Shrine in Pasay after arrival honors in the air base. At 5 PM, Bishop Leopoldo Tumulak, D.D., of the Military Ordinariate of the Philippines, will celebrate the welcome mass for the relics in the shrine, followed by a public veneration of the relics until 10 PM on that day. There will be a dawn mass on the 16th and 17th of December and veneration of the relics at the shrine’s remembering chapel.

On December 18, the relics will begin their journey to dozens of dioceses and archdioceses throughout the Philippines before they return to the shrine on April 11, 2013 to April 14, 2013.
