Moving in, moving out

My muscles are still aching from an unscheduled workout. The lifting of heavy boxes and bags sure make great exercise. I am referring of course to our latest transfer to another apartment. If only there was no pending work waiting for me at the office, I would taken a two-day furlough. I can say that I have somewhat became a veteran of moving houses that I am thinking of working in a moving company on a part-time basis. And one thing is for sure, I won't venture into renting apartments for a living. I just don't have the heart to throw somebody else from his home, even if my tenant has not paid his rent for a year, which would make it harder for me to evict him for humanitarian reasons.
Now back to the real world, I managed to glance at today's headline of the Philippine Daily Inquirer: "GMA backtracks on wage hike" or something like that. Well, I'm not surprised. That petite lady has never shown resolve in her decisions. The only time that she will stand firm is when it concerns the survival of her beleaguered administration. But you know what, she had just given her fellow thieves in the opposition another ammunition, another nail on her coffin that could bring her down.
